# Spent the afternoon catching up on what the baby monitor's been saying behind my back.

Got home pretty late from Halloween last night and heard the baby monitor talking again.

It reminded me that I've still been recording the monitor overnight, even though I've been rather lax about going through the files.

So I spent part of this afternoon catching up. Most of the recordings are just static, with occasional noises that might be somebody moving furniture or washing dishes. But I found a few conversations that seemed worth keeping.

I've posted five short clips below, including the one from last night. They're from different nights, not one continuous conversation. I can't even be sure it's always the same people talking.

I suspect all of this would make considerably more sense if I knew what happened before the recordings started.

Anyway, Mabel helped me sort through them. Mostly by sitting on things.

The clown was less useful, although admittedly he hasn't made any promises.
