The Second Sky (part 10)

Sela and Rovan share a lively morning at the coast as Dasa sends them out to work and Brin calls from the harbor.

At the harbor, Brin and Miran recruit Sela and Rovan to move a boat threatened by shifting shore ice.

The crew hauls the boat as the ice turns dangerous; Miran directs, Brin strains, Sela clears space, and Rovan follows.

The boat nearly swings free, but Miran coordinates a second line and the group stops it; afterward his shaking hand gives him away.

With the boat secure, Brin, Miran, Rovan, and Sela return to ordinary harbor work, ending on a quiet Sela-Rovan exchange.

A traveler delivers Tavi’s delayed note by a long detour; Sela laughs at the goat joke, then decides to send something back.
